Grinding from front wheel/brake/axle?? HELP

Hey guys, this is my first post so bear with me. I have a 99 ranger 4x4 supercab. Yay for Pulse Vaccum Hubs, anyways, awhile ago i had the hubs replaced by ford before i knew about all of the problems with these things. Ever since they were replaced there has been a grinding noise from the front driver's side wheel. The grinding is biased, by this i mean that it is a distinct grind from about 25-40mph, loudest at about 35. Before and after this speed range it is present but very subdued compared to that range. While this grind has been going on i've replaced brakes and found that that isn't the problem. I'm thinking it might be hub/spindle but i'm new to all of this so i dont know. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

take off the rim and see if its rubbing on the caliper

How long ago were they replaced?? take it back and get the guys who did it to fix it.

check your wheel bearings, they might be bad or loose. to check, jack up vehicle until tire clears enough to grab BOTH top and bottom of tire. wiggle tire in and out to see how much play, if there is play try adjusting your spindle nut until there is NO play but your wheel still spins freely, also would advise spending the 15 bucks on a haynes manual if you don't already have one. hope thi helps

Alright guys, just replaced my rotors hoping that would solve the issue because they were warped. Yes WARPED. It's still there... Wheel doesn't wobble when i do the 12/6 push pull. I guess i'm gonna take the hubs off and have a look. Also, how much play is acceptable when doing the 3/9 o'clock wobble to check ball joints? I did get a little of play when i checked that... just wondering.

To check the balljoints properly on that truck you should jack up one front tire by the lower control arm and put a prybar under the tire and pry up. A 12 and 6 o'clock push pull will find bad wheel bearings, a 9 and 3 o'clock will test for play in the steering (inner and outer tie rods/ steering rack play)

if yer lower ball jiont is bad i feel for you not much room to drill rivets if it's all factory and chizzeling is a bitch
