grind ring gear?

i will be installing a locker in my 8.8, 28 spline rear with 4.10 gears. just wondering if im going to have to grind down a tooth on the ring gear to remove the cross pin. just want to have everything i need ready.

Nope. You do not run into this issue until 4.56 and numerically higher with the 8.8.

i want to re-gear ill be running 32's dont really care about loosing mpg just looking to get the most performance i can. rear end 7.5 - stock gearing 3.73, i read the tire/gear chart in the tech library. any input would be awesome.
