HI!... Well I got my rear disc set-up. This uses the COBRA 12" vented rear rotors and COBRA calipers. I still have to get the COBRA flex lines and notch the caliper brackets so they mount behind the axle flange.

Where did you get that?

Is that for the 28 spline or 31 spline 8.8?

HI!... I got it off E-BAY. The rear calipers (with new pads) were like $170(U.S) and the rest of the kit was $185(U.S). I still have to get COBRA flex lines. It's for a 28 spline 8.8. The mounting flange must be knotched out like the pic below due to it has to be mounted on the back side of the axle flange, not in front of it to allow proper caliper to rotor alignment.

That's cool. A little pricey, but cool.

Thought I would throw this out there, alot of places the brackets alone are $150. I did this swap a while back, but I used brackets from northracecars.com becuase they are set up to use ranger axles for the 5 lug conversions on mustangs. It doesnt hold true on all years either but newer years you can use cobra soft lines and they will bolt right onto the factory hard lines. the hardest part in this swap is pulling the axleshafts to get the backingplate off.

Between this thread and one of my buddies currently doing a rear disc swap, I had enough inspiration to do it myself. I just put in the order for pretty much the same kit the OP got, just need the calipers. Its gonna be for down the road however, I want to get the fronts done at the same time, seeing as how these rears are gonna be bigger than my stock fronts lol.

throwing out how I hooked the rear lines up for the cobra swap. I dont think this works on all years but for my 03 it did.

All I did was bend the factory line to point forward and attached the cobra soft line to it. I bent the bracket that was on the cobra lines to allow me to bolt it to the U bolt and hold it all secure.
