Just checked and my Cobra was one of the 2001s that received the stronger Teksid block, instead of the weaker Windsor Aluminum Plant (WAP) block.

The Teksid can handle up to 900 HP with little or no modification. I doubt I'll ever get to that level though.

Cobras have aluminum blocks?

My Windsor 5.4 has an iron block with aluminum heads, I thought 'stangs were the same.

Where the heck is the "Teksid" plant at? Russia?

Cobras used the aluminum block until 2004 when they went forced induction, no?

Teksid plant is in Italy. They also supply Ferarri with engine blocks. :D

Cobras had aluminum blocks until 2003, when the supercharged Terminator came off the line.
