i have an 03 xlt 2wd all stock accept intake and exhaust. my tires are pretty bald and i'm pretty broke, so after searching the almighty craigslist i found a guy with some 31x10.5x15 super swampers asking 100 bucks for all four in good condition. might as well give it a try right?
i've heard you can fit this size tire on a stock rim, i have also hear you can fit them with out a lift, with slight rubbing at full lock? any input? by the way the truck has 3.73s in it.

thoose tire will fit no problem

so i picked up the tires last night, they are actually Mickey Thompson Baja Claw Radials, this morning i went down to one of the tire shops and had them put on. the truck looks 10x better, rides better and they actually dont rub at all.

yeah they definately look great, i dont know if ill be able to replace them with another set once they are worn out at 170 a tire. but by that time hopefully i'l have another job.
now that i've put the tires on the truck pulls slightly to the right but only after 35-40 mph, is this the alignment or could it be un even wear on the tires? i notice 2 of the tires is worn un evenly could that be the problem

It could be that and alignment. I re-aligned my truck after I put 31's on it.

i' not possitive on how to post a pic her but here's my attempt.

that looks really good. fills it out nicely

swap the front tires it's not alignment...if it pulls the other way rotate them fron to back and pull will be gone

thanks daniel3507, i think so too. definately a big differrence from stock as far as looks as well as the ride difference.

i'l try that tire swap in the front as soon as i get the chance then go from there. thanks for the advice mentalbreakdown00.

i cant wait to get a lift on this, i really want to go with a camburg long travel but unfortunatley lost my job a few months back and havent had any luck finding another one. on top of that ive got a few tickets to pay and am even trying to sell my dirtbike to pay them. Sooo i am going to try to find a used lift or something for now. maby just some lift spindles and blocks or something like the fabtec sping and upper arm kit would be even better if i could get a good deal on them.

I like it, helps give it that "look"!! :icon_thumby:

Thanks for the pics, & good luck with the job situation, I'm in the same boat.:bawling:

damn, cash is hard every where right now...
looks cool man, gives a mean look, do u feel any difference in the ride??
hope your situation gets better really soon so u can lift that motherf*****!!!
same to u B2 addict :icon_thumby:
