Getting the same ranger that's built everywhere else in the world here in the USA will be a blessing for us.

Why?

We all know that the aftermarket support for the Ranger was dropping before Ford ever stopped production. In fact, there was only one company offering a bolt on suspension lift for it. It's hard to find big name companies that offer parts that are a direct bolt on for the last breed of Ranger's.

That will change if our Ranger is the same one sold over seas. There's already aftermarket support for those trucks (ARB bumpers, etc). Getting a truck with a global market will open up new markets for the aftermarket here in the states.

I for one, and anxious to see how this unfolds

The lack of aftermarket parts for our trucks has been my biggest gripe for years now.

Bringing the Ranger back I don't think is going to do anything for aftermarket support for the old Rangers. Companies may jump on the aftermarket band wagon for the new Ranger but they're not going to worry about the old ones.
