Getting bored with internet... Anyone else?

Boggin....

I set his account so he couldn't post for a while and sent him a message because he was getting so annoying. I tried to save him some humility instead of having BANNNED listed under his user name.

Then I let him post again and he went nuts with profanity towards someone in a post and really crossed over in to the permanent ban status.

I banned him and really haven't had the desire to lift it. I don't see where he has anything to contribute and annoys a lot of the members. I went through and deleted some posts by him and ANOTHER member because they were having a childish inappropriate discussion in a post where someone posted pics of their truck. One of them commented on how much they liked the truck and the other was remarking about what the other ones girlfriend would say..... It was pretty stupid and juvenile.

I've told Boggin before that the forum is not a chat room where him and another member can post back and forth 100 times in a thread over a 1/2 hour period.

I don't mind teens on the forum if they can act somewhat like an adult.

That would be Boggin... IIRC he was unbanned for about a day before he really crossed the line.. but I could be imagining things.

Is there a point in sticking up for him? He dug his hole, got banned, then came back and jumped in headfirst with both feet.

TRS > RPS? I've never even became a member over there even though I've been aware of both sites for ~ the same amount of time. Hell, I even supported this site monetarily.

hey man im not trying to argue with your whole anti gay marriage thing considering i dont believe in god nor am i gay, but why exactly does it matter if another person goes to heavon or not because their gay? its not going to effect your trip there. im just saying that you should just let them live a happy life. obviously your unhappy right now so you know EXACTLY the way they feel. im sure god would forgive you for atleast making somebody happy.

Werd ... I'm not gay, nor am I married any more at least for the time being. People around here get so animated about a body lift not being legal in some states when there's so much more at stake for a certain part of the populace.

oh by the way i checked out that other ranger website and as i scrolled through the suspension section and i saw a thread where a guy asks if there are any shocks that give a lift. that literally dropped my jaw hahaha. just that alone steers me away from this site. i definantly agree with what you said about how great this site is. i dont post all that much but i definantly check out a lot of threads and just soak in the information even if i know i will never do that to my truck.

I stayed away from the General Discussions area of this site for a long time. I was just interested in the tech stuff. Eventually, I took a look at Gen. Disc. on a boring day. Some of what we talk about is discouraging. But, this is General Discusssions and we live in interesting times. It's not surprising that some off-the-wall comments pop up here. But again, I've seen the membership of this site offer some pretty good advice to guys whose personal lives are shaken up. The fellows that started this site have done a good job of keeping a good tone. For my part, I like listening to how people much younger than myself view things. You guys have great You-Tube and movie links.

My personal advice for those who are bored, fed up with the world, pissed about the election, and so forth is to spend as much of your time over the holidays volunteering at a soup kitchen, Salvation Army, or church charity . . . it's guaranteed to make you feel better. They always need a truck to haul something.

If I have a problem with my disgronificator or my aberdeen washers are out of alignment - I'm switch over to the tech side but I like the Gen. Disc. area.
