gas gauge reading empty all the time?

I had the same problem with my 91'. When I bypassed it, the fuel tank reads accurate until you start driving. It will jump up and down, hence the anti-slosh. Just go to a junk yard and pick out a few, because I got two and one didn't work. thankfully I picked up two or I'd be driving all the way back to get another. You can probably get away with sneaking them in your pocket. But if not I'm sure only a couple bucks each.
