Did this a while back when my truck was stock with 32" BFG ats on it.

There was a guy that told me about a fullsize bronco out in the woods somewhere. He said I would never get it out............

I will let the pictures do the talking.

And once it was out of the swamp part, I spun it around to face forward on the trail.

I pulled it about 10 feet and wondered why I was having such a hard time....... I found that dragging a bronco and ripping a stump out of the ground is about the limits of what the ranger could do. :tease:

Where the stump used to be.

Then it tried to run into a rock. (on the left side of picture)

So I moved the two good tires to the front so it would lead better as I pulled it. That worked very well and I got a really good pull on it.

Getting fed up with this damn thing not wanting to go straight.

n703930719_2767401_7669.jpg

So I re-rigged it so the bronco was only 6-8 feet behind me and it tracked sooo much better.

Tight turns got, umm, interesting....Note the 4" pinetree that the bronco is taking out in this pic.

n703930719_2767404_8957.jpg

Then it was a straight pull all the way out.

Nice. Now take it to the scrapper and make some $$$. You earned it.

haha wow good job.

nice, kinda like de'javu, when i retrieved my donor truck. 'cept i had the benefit of a fullsize to facilitate my recovery. gotta give ya mad props for an awesome recovery

I don't think the risk of damage is worth the scrap price of that derelict pos.

But it does feel good to get a job done. And that is some nasty shit there. I hate those type of woods. You can get sucked down out of site, tear out a tire on an unseen stump--anything really. That doesn't look like an active vehicle so I doubt I would have went after it.

I dragged it out of there for no other purpose than to scrap it. It was alot of hard work but it was also a lot of fun.

I left it there overnight and came back in the morning with a car trailer. I come-alonged it onto the trailer and towed it the 8 miles to the scrap yard where I got $530 for the 4900lbs of mud and rust.

Damn, that was well worth the $530, If i had a car trailer and truck to tow it with my b2 would be back in the woods dragging shot up cars out every weekend.

Looks like the "Blair Witch Project" but with trucks.

LMAO....my rear winch would have made real quick work out of most of that with a lot less effort. Works good for dragging dead vehicles onto trailers too because I can leave the trailer hooked up to the truck. Looks like ya had a good time :icon_thumby:
