full size bronco tans problems help

i have a 89 full size bronco with 302 5.0L my trans is shot it wont go into overdrive (4th gear) but it shifts fine up until then, i have a c6 trany and was wondering if i can bolt it up to my small block 302, i was thinking that i could take the flywheel off the c6and bolt it up to my 302 then hook up the c6, didnt know if it was possible?

I'm almost certain the bellhousing bolt patterns are
different, and therefore the trans won't interchange....

The important question is: "What engine did the C-6 come off of?"

If it was on a 351W or 4.9 you are golden provided you can find (or make)
a kickdown link....

It won't work then.

the 351M is not the same bellhousing pattern as the 351W


Have you check the TV cable and done the appropriate adjustments? That can cause big problems. Of course, if it's electronically shifted, I don't know much about those animals.
