fuel issue

most likely burnt terminals at the fuel pump relay or just a bad relay itself.

its in or under the fuse box under the hood.

if yo don't find anything wrong there then you might consider running a new wire from the relay to the pump

Thanks for the suggestion, that's what I figured I may need to do. I checked both relays but I cant find anything wrong with them, there's no burnout or anything that would be indicative of damage. Guess that leaves me with the concern about splicing and wire gauge and finding the route the wire takes from relay to pump. :annoyed:

back again with same thing

dont worry dont mind someone else posting the same kind of issue but now my truck is doing its stupid issue again which i really hope its not the pump but if so then i can take it back cause of warranty. :dunno: :annoyed: i have no codes in the computer at all which i thought there wasn't going to be any but had to be sure.

as for your issue def need to run a wire which can be a b****. lol

So I'm GRADE A certified RETARDED! After having replaced the fuel pump(which requires removing the cables from the battery) and finding that there's no voltage to the pump itself I spent a lot of time/effort/money doing a number of other things that LIKELY weren't necessary at all. I came upon this one image about the fuel pump shut off switch, which I KNEW about and had used before the FIRST time the truck broke down... So I randomly go out to my truck and push the switch, hit the ignition and GUESS WHAT?! It started right up. Thank god I don't have to rewire anything :yahoo:

I don't think that the inertia switch (or whatever it's called) should need to be pushed unless the truck was rolled or in an accident or something. I would look into replacing it if it's giving you issues.

Probably, attempted to take the truck to the freeway and didn't even make it to the nearest main road before it started sputtering between 20 and 30mph, mid sputter it suddenly began accelerating to 50.:annoyed:
