Let me start off with saying I love Rangers. Always have. Every vehicle I have owned has been a RBV. Now with that said, I'v about had it with my 2005 Ranger 3.0 Auto. I bought it with 15k miles in late 2007. It currently has 99k on the clock. Ever since I have bought it it has been in the shop constently. Most under warentee but now that its gone, I'm not paying for it all out of pocket. So far since I have bought it I have had the current things replaced :
Back window leak, new gasket installed. Rear end rebuilt due to loud rack and pinion noise. Rear main seal leaking oil. Transmition leak. The person who owned it before me had the transmition redone under warentee. At 70k miles the transmition started slipping, and when going into overdrive it felt like i was riding a horse, so i flushed it, and its still not right, but its better. Today, the alternator locked up and took the belt with it, causing me to miss a 1/2 a day of work. I just don't know what to do anymore!!!!
Its half paid off so I'm in limbo of trading it in. Anyway, sorry for the rant. Thank you all for the support you have given me in the few post I have posted. I have been a luker on this forum for about 6 years. Thank you all!
