On my 2002 Ranger 4x4 xlt I have a fluid leak where my passenger side CV shaft inserts into my transfer case. Does anyone know what the seal is actually called? I have looked at all the parts store sites and googled the hell out of it, most things start talking about the rear axles, or transmission.

The cv shafts come out of the front differential. The transfer case is that big lump behind the transmission

There is a CV joint that comes out of the transfer case that is connected to the drive shaft that goes to the front differential. It is on the driver side. It sounds like the CV joint you are talking about is the one connected to the front differential. That should help you in looking for what you need.
