Front tire wear issues.

Hello TRS,

Was wanting some advice/insight into a recurring problem with my Ranger.
The truck: 06' Ranger 2.3l, 2WD, 5spd, short bed. 150k miles.

The problem: Recurring inner-edge tire wear.

What I have done: Control arms, ball joints, bushings, wheel bearings,shocks, tie-rods, end links, camber bolts, multiple alignments and sets of tires.

Tires usually start showing major inner-edge tire wear within 4k miles.

The truck does have a slight lean towards the front driver's side. I could use new leaf springs soon also.

Any input/suggestions would be appreciated. None of the alignment guys within 20 miles of me seem to know/care about helping me solve this.

did you get a print out showing what your before and after alignment is? i know Sears would do that. it would show what angle your tires are at and would show the toe and camber in degrees to give a more accurate diagram of what your tires are at. Just because they did an alignment doesnt mean they did it right. i would ask for the printout showing where your tires are at.

factory wheels? what size and brand of tire? some tires just wear worse than others, the factory issue Conti's come to mind.

235/75/r15 - stock rims. Falken Wildpeak HT's.

No, they did not give a printout at any of the places I have gone. I'll be sure to get it next time.
