Front end bump stops on lifts!!!

Here is another one all!

So, one would want bump stops on their truck, it prevents the shocks from bottoming out and blowing up the coil buckets/shock mounts.

My question is concerning aftermarket kits (skyjacker, and maybe others). This bump stop is very close to the top of the Ibeam at rest, and is also crooked due to a close rivet.

i suppose I could massage the rivet with a dremel or small grinder.

however I still feel it allows such a small amount of up travel.

what do you think??? Did they ship me the wrong bump stops?

Looks like you installed the bump stops but forgot the rest of the lift kit.

Here is what mine looks like. 6" Skyjacker lift with their provided bump stops on a 93 Ranger.

I think they sent me the stops for a 6” kit! To use on my 4 inch kit. I’m suspicious

I still have the Skyjacker bump stops I never bothered to put in my Ranger... 22 years ago.
