Amp:

lol you didnt have to make another thread im lol but its cool, that system will work your amp is a lil over kill for that speaker but just make sure you dont put the gain to high. the only other thing is well you need a wiring kit, andddd you dont have and after market HU so your gonna have to tap into your rear speakers which is not the best idea but, it is what it is. they make a little converter box that lets you twist the wires in with your speakers from the back and thay go to your amp. yes your back speakers will still work but they wont be as good as they used to sound, cause half of that energy is going to the amp now.

also idk how much bass your looking for but have you ever thought of just upgrading your speakers some high quality one can add a lil bass, not feel it in your chest but some good bass non the less

that amp wont work well for your sub, its 2channel, so you would need a dual 2 ohm sub not dual 4 ohm, or you could find an amp that makes its power into a 2 ohm load.

the amp you picked can be bridged but is only stable down to 4 ohms bridged, if you ran 1 coil per channel you would only be running each channel at 4 ohms when its stable at 2 ohms (unbridged) you would only get about half the rated power running it that way. since kenwood amps dont put out rated power. you might be dissapointed after all is said and done

I already have replaced my stock speakers with some 3-way 6x9 pioneers they sound good but now i want a little more bass. I like the bass that my computer speakers have and the sub is an 8" at 120 watts RMS so that's why i think the the sub i was looking at would satisfy me.

i am confused now on how to find an amp, i was told that the watts and the ohms from the sub should match the amp and the sub i was looking at says it is dual 4ohms which is, when connected to an amp is 2ohms, is this right

i am also considering saving up some more money and getting this sub:

you could run the amp at 2 ohms on a single channel, but you couldnt run it bridged at 2 ohms, its only 4 ohm stable in bridged mode

so that amp would be good for the RE sr or the other one i was looking at

it would be a better match for a dual 4 ohm sub wired to a 2 ohm load
