Don't know if this was posted yesterday (I didn't see it):

I think this is awesome. For those that don't follow certain racing events like Formula 1, the Baja series, or famous Dakar Rally, this could be a game changer for Ford on a worldwide scale in the world of racing. Maybe not, but it's headed in the right direction. Cool stock class improvement.

Composite body, and a Coyote engine. What more could you want in a Ranger? But sadly it looks terrible from the side.

Apparently aesthetics, for you!

It's the overseas Ranger that is still being made outside of the U.S. I think it looks good, loud graphics and all. :icon_thumby:

I get that it's a race vehicle, and form follows function. And I don't mind the looks of the global ranger. I just wish this race truck looked more like the global ranger from the side view. The cab is way to long, the bed is way to short, and the rear wheel wells are to far forward to be decent looking.
It's a sad day when my lowered, sport truck with rubber band tires would be able to haul more than an offroad race truck.

Yeah, that's the European style Ranger. I wish they would bring it back to America.

I have built the same ranger for rally racing but it is a generation 1 and 2 WD but I rally race it and I am a placed 3rd in my first year of competition in the NASA RS ARC this this is bad ass fun.. and I am sure the south americans think the same they are doing well in the dakar 22nd over all and out of hundreds of starters I think thats great for the ranger.. :yahoo:
