fords F150 rear ends

Looking at the build and price on fords website and saw:
Electronic Locking Axle Ratio & Non-Limited Slip Axle Ratio

How proven is the Electronic Locking Axle Ratio?
and from the stand point of someone who pulls trailers (boats and small cargo / No real off roading) what is the direction to go in.

I'd go with an ARB air locker before the electronic one on the F-150.

If it is actually in an F-150 is it setup to disengage at 5 MPH.

At any rate I doubt you will top 5mph on the boat ramp. Pricing will be ugly for awhile though.
