I was somewhat joking... LOL I had a TI-83 Plus in college for engineering, but I know they're old tech by now.

I wasn't alive when OJ was making those commercials.

The internet was going crazy with people reacting to Ford rolling it out on OJ's birthday . Now I'm waiting to see how long it takes before Ford's called racist for moving it.

There's no winning in this culture anymore. Everythings racist, everything is wrong, Im a racist for saying this right now.

Not to get too far off topic but I was watching unsolved mysteries, the original 1980s version with robert stack. I was like wow. some of the most basic stuff they say back then would be jumped all over for being crazy inappropriate, racist, sexist, homophobic etc today. That show would be pulled off the air and robert stack burned at the stake when he said in one episode that "A man who liked being dressed as a woman commited fraud in order to fund his sex change operation". I was like damn, today they would say "that transgender hero of the lgbtqrzxyt community bravely fought oppression to win her individuality!"

I was watching OLD snl while ago and had the same thought.

So many jokes and stuff that are regular today would be super taboo back then, and a ton of jokes from back then are totally taboo/unacceptable nowadays.

I was also watching an older episode of top gear recently and Clarkson was making jokes about killing the prime minister. That would probably get you arrested here.. the free'est nation in the world.. but apparently it's no big deal in a part of the world where you don't even have a right to self defense.

That's not exactly the way I see it. According to the media and pop-culture these days, almost everything that used to be right is now wrong and most of what used to wrong, is now right or at least accepted and defended.

For the record, I'm still of the opinion that if it was wrong 40 years ago, it's still wrong today and by the same token, if it was right, it still is. There maybe a few exceptions due to changing times and technology, but they are very few.
