Someone mentioned awhile back that they had never heard of them. I think they were used in Nam on some of the river patrol boats in the delta, side by each 427's. Maybe wrong again. Did find this prime example of Ford's finest being used in a boat and for sale on E-Bay a couple of years ago. No, I didn't bid on it or even check to see what it went for - probably more than I would want to know. Build for off-shore racing, love a ride in one (maybe).

Nifty.

I've seen a couple 429/460 Marine engines.

I've seen many of the 2.3L marine engines. They use them for the pinto racers around here. They can be built up pretty good. Never seen a V-8 though.

Twin Cammers. WOW!!!

The boats were built for Navy Seals...I forget the designation...427CJs if memory serves. Grafton Boat Works just north of St. Louis Mo built them. Somewhere on the internet there has got to be a complete description...
