...how did you make the bucket sit flat on the drivers side with the power steering box bump? I'm about to start on this and any tips from personal experience would be great.
Btw my Dana 44 is narrowed so I don't want to make the buckets hang out a lot on each side.
 
I figured out where the bucket needed to go. I cut it to fit over the bump and welded a new piece in. Sorry thr photo is kind ofm blurry.

Did you add any more bolts/bracing to the bucket or just use 2 bolts? Either hole line up with an existing hole in the frame?
 
I welded a plate on the bottom and have 2 bolts on the bottom and 2 bolts on the top.

I believe I had to drill 4 holes on each side but I can't remember for sure.
 
Ballistic fabrication has some adjustable buckets. I used them on mine and they work greay
