Fog light switch pin-out

I wired my truck for fog lights over the weekend and wired it into the stock fog light switch, the switch works and the fog lights operate fine, but the little light that is supposed to indicate that the fogs are on doesn't work. I used the pin-out from the website posted below, wire number 3 operates the light on the switch to let you know its on, however it only lights if it is the only wire getting power, if I plug wire 6 to operate the fog lights the light from pin 3 doesn't come on.

Actually Pin 3 is the one that grounds the relay. Pin 6 is what signals the indicator light to come on.

Did you wire pin 6 right? Splicing it into the positive side of the fog lights? You may have switched these two pins.
