I have lost power to the driver side fog lamp while the pass. side still has power. The wiring harness kind of disappears up the front of the 4.0 right next to the AC compressor. Fuses are good however the power pack fuses in the engine bay are an unknown thing to me.
Any idea of where to look for the issue?

If one works and the other doesn’t, it’s not a fuse. They both share the same fuse. Check bulb and check wiring between the 2 lights.

Ok, I have the lights removed and just the wires are exposed...will check ..
The mechanics I've asked to look at it are so busy fixing vehicles (and the Ranger) they don't have time to trace the problem. Mechanics and auto body people are swamped here and there isn't enough of them. But they charge a lot less than stateside.

BTW, is is possible to splice into the passenger side wire and run it to the driver's side without overheating? I'm using Mustang fog lamps which are smaller than OE if that matters.
