I just noticed that the right side right side fog lamp lens is broken on my '02 Ranger. I see plenty of replacements offered on Amazon, ebay, etc - mostly as pairs.

Any experience with these? Should I replace both lights while I'm at it?

If you only need to replace one, just replace the one if you can. The protective clear coat on the other might be compromised or maybe not. You'll have to look at it and decide if it's ok or not. They are more protected in some ways than the head lights and it seems UV exposure is the prime culprit to the coating failing.

I would try to get one(s) with a DOT certification. Another consideration is maybe it's time to upgrade to LED fog lights.

I need to get around to doing something to my right light myself. The original bulb shattered in the housing and darkened the lens and housing some. It still works but stands out.
