my felxplate sheared in the middle, i got the trans off and the plate off the t.c. but i cant get the bolts that held the flexplate to the crank, any i deas of what to do to get them off?

Use a breaker bar on the crankshaft pully bolt at the front of the engine? That should (hopefully...and not unscrew the crank pully LOL) allow you to get a socket wrench onto those 6 bolts holding the remains.

Otherwise? Nail it with an impact wrench. That hits hard and fast to loosen the bolts. Suggest inspection of the spacer (if used in your application) if the inside of the spacer is busted or egg-shaped? Replace it! Otherwise there is a chance the torque converter might not seat correctly. Talking from personal "kick in the pants" moment. Our 2nd transmission replacement? We didn't notice it was cracked--and the torque converter was bolted in just slightly off center. It took out the front seal and pump bushing in about a months time.
