Finally a Ranger owner... once again.

Greetings. My wife and I just bought a 2009 Ranger FX4, 4X4 4.0L 5 speed manual trans. Bought it from its original owner with 161,800 miles on it. It's in great condition as is, but we plan to have a lot of fun with it. And by we, I mean my wife is just as big of a gear head as I am. She had a used 86 Ranger when she was younger, I had a 2000 Supercab 2wd bought new. For now, I just need to find out as much as I can on the current mods for suspension, and ultimately... hopefully, a Coyote swap. I've seen some done, but not in a 4X4. So we'll see what happens.

Just within the last couple of years aftermarket suspension parts have started showing up. Deleted the torsion bars on my 07, running coilovers and never looked back. Check out my Yellow Submarine for pics.

ricksrangerz is where to get the coil coversion to delete the torsion bars. its on my list of things to do too
