Is the chunk on an explorer rear centered or offset, also is the wms distance the same on drum and disc brake setups ? Thanks.

centered. dont quote me but i believe the WMS is the same. if its not it is close enough for most purposes. it would only be different by 3/4 on each side at the most.

The Explorer diff is offset towards the passenger side like that on a ranger axle and for the same reason, gas tank clearance.

The WMs is wider than all rangers, though how much wider depends on what year ranger... up to '92, or 93-on?
