engine running rough cylinder 6 miss fire

really need some advice out there, first off it a 98 ranger 4x4 5 speed 4x4. left the house last monday started driving down the road and the engine started runing rough and the shifter started shakeing, thought it was a miss fire then it went away. picked up plugs and wires changed them out, thought it was fixed then it acted up again, stoped in at autozone had them put the scan tool on. and found it said cylinder six was miss fireing, so they said try changeing the coil . did that today and it didnt work. truck acted up again on my way home from work engine started runing rough then the check engine light started flashing, the funny thing is it doesnt do this all the time some days its fine, any ideas ? not shure what to do next,

i agree with edge , i had the same problem , i mean exactly the same , it turned out to be a blown head gasket , which took out the head , do these as soon as possible

found out today it was a bad fuel injector.
