engine chirping

Hi guys, can anyone tell me why I have a high pitched chirping sound in my 4.0 v6? it is random ,and doesn't always happen ,more when its warm. I removed the belt and it still does it .Iam stumped by this ,could the fan clutch be doing it?

Does it sound like its coming from the rear of the engine... CPS.. Cam syncro/sensor. more likely the syncro... With the belt off, that sounds like a pretty good indication. Replace soon or you will have a dead engine. What year is the 4.0L from? Or we talking the 3.0L you have listed?
