egr valve pressure sensor

where is the egr valve pressure sensor located on a 96 ford ranger 4 cyl 2.3l
 
It should be near the fire wall. Find two metal tubes sticking up off the manifold running into two rubber hoses connected to a little black box with an electrical connector on it. That's your EGR flow sensor.
 
It's called a DPFE sensor and it looks like this if it's the original

or probably like this if it's been replaced
