early bronco rear ?

what does it take to put an early bronco rear in a b2 im doin the 44 spindle upgrade and dont want to have 2 diff lug patterns

or would i be better off to try and redrill the axle flanges and drums to make them 5*5

So, what are you doing exactly? Trying to match the bolt pattern to the small pattern on a D35 that is swapped in up front, or have you allready got a SAS'ed front, or what? You can re-drill the 9" rear shafts to a smaller pattern, along with the brake drums, or simply go and get a set of shafts for a 67-70 Mustang, with matching spline count, and slap them in, disc brake it using the rears off of a 96 or newer C/V, so that you have a small bolt pattern, factory parts rear disc setup on a 9" rear.I did that to the 9" rear from my 71 EB that I junked. It also had the 1310 Ujoint driveshafts, so no new Ujoint or yoke was needed to use the old driveshaft.

They make adapters to do that to.

I don't think swapping in the EB 9 is all that much different from an EX 8.8, although personally I'd just do the EX 8.8 and redrill the flanges for 5x5.5". This way you get the 31 spline shafts (EB9 is 28), rear disc brakes (if you get the right year), and your driveshaft will be up a bit higher out of harms way. The 8.8 having less pinion offset makes for a bit less internal friction between the R&P gears as well.
