So it appears to me that Ford gave me the wrong part, which fits vehicles with cv joints not axle shafts.. DOHT!! Does anyone have an idea what the dust excluder seal part number is from ford for these stupid things? its a96 4.0 liter five speed manual with manual hubs...
So my broken universal saga continues. Folks, I ordered up this dust excluder ring which i couldnt find ANYWHERE but ford, I went to the dealer w/out the axle tag because it isnt on the truck any longer and gave him the vin. He got me part number YL2Z-3K070-AA which appears to me , to be part of a F150 front end instead of the Ranger, it looks MUCH larger than the Ranger one. And of course I opened the package. Any thoughts or help would be great.
