Driver's side hazard light doesn't work (Both turn signals work fine)

As long as I have owned my Ranger, the driver's side hazard light doesn't work. Both turn signals, brake lights, running lights, etc. all work perfect. When I push the hazard lights button, only the right side works. The left side doesn't even illuminate on the dash like the right one does. I removed some old wiring the previous owner had done years ago to wire up a topper light, thinking that would fix it, but it didn't.

I understand the hazard lights are isolated from the turn signals, even though they utilize the same lamps. Is there a relay I should try replacing for hazard lights? I'm a little puzzled on how one could work.

Thanks in advance.

Edit: Sorry for posting in wrong section, I can’t find how to move this thread.

The hazard and turn signal circuits and bulbs are one in the same. They are isolated from each other in functionality only by the multi function switch.

Looks to me like the multi function switch is bad

Good to know, thank you! I’ll shop around for one. The wipers sometimes kick in slow too unless I bump up the setting so I bet that switch is wearing out.

The multi function switch replacement fixed it, thanks Uncle Gump!

Found a new Ford one on eBay for about $50 shipped too. Not a bad deal. Took maybe 15 minutes for the job, dang wire harnesses are a pain to carefully separate.

Good deal...

Did it fix the wiper issue too?
