I have a explorers front driveshaft and the 1354 flange on my transfer case. I want to use a double cardan setup that will allow me to get rid of the u-joint straps on the transfer case side and use a flange to blot up to the t-case. does this exist or what vehicle uses this that will work?

i dont not sure if you can swap the flange from an explorer tcase or not

The factory setup does not use straps (not at the T-case anyway)... the DC joint actually bolts right up to the yoke.

But if you want to switch from the yoke to a flange, you can do so. You'll need to get a socket-flange to replace the socket-yoke on your driveshaft (about a $80-100 item IIRC) and of course a flange to replace the t-case yoke with.

If you get this figured out and working post up. I'd be interested in picking up that front DC joint flange.

I have seen where people drill the threads out of the strap type yokes and use the u-bolt with nut type setup from fullsizes.
