? Door sill protectors ?

Our 2024 Ranger FX4 has no factory sill protectors. I want to protect the finish on the sill. What sill protectors are you using? Open to suggestions.

There are probably a million and one options available online, I personally have never bothered..

.. although... When I traded in my '21 I ended up putting some skateboard grip-tape on its front 2 sills. I managed to shut my snow-brush in my driver's door one time after a storm and it dented the hell out of the sill.. the dent never really bothered me but I knew it would affect trade in value.

Smashed it back to flat with a framing hammer and the grip tape hid the rest of it lol.

When I saw the truck listed online for sale again a few months later.. the dealership pictures showed the grip tape still being there lol.

While not a 2024, I've been considering getting some for my 2019 Ranger. They should fit a 2024+ Ranger as well since I think the cab stayed pretty much the same. There are a few aftermarket options out there. I imagine they are all going to be a stick on type application. So make sure you clean the sill well before you apply the protectors. As long as they are a thick plastic or rubber, they should do the job well. Though, I must say, my sills have remained spotless so far, even without protection.

I got some from somenplace online. A flat black strip across the sill and custom circular plate in blue with j&c in white on the plate.

I found some I really liked the look of, but the product said it was for up to a 2023. Is there much/any difference in the door sills between a 2023 and a 2024??

They should work just fine. Ford changed quite a bit between 23 and 24 but the cab/doors are essentially the same.

you know what? i think the ones i got only said 19-23 on the ad but i figured door sills are door sills and they fit.

I just got some. The wife ordered a set for her new Pacifica* and got a set for my Ranger too.
Surprise.
Cheapo vinyl stick-ons with a Ford logo but they fit well enough.

*Wife totaled her last two Chrysler minivans. At least this one wasn't her fault.
