Had a chance to tear into doors and dash. Tried a known good door actuator and all it did was click also. Tested the voltage at switches at 12.3 but when switch is pushed it clicks and voltage drops to 0. Checked ground wires in kick panels and cleaned them up. Pulled relay box from under dash that was clicking at times and 2 of the 7 relays were hot doing nothing, pulled them out and one made all kinds of clicking as it connected to socket. Sounds like there is a short? Looked for a relay box diagram for 2000 ranger to ID the relays, but can't seem to find one. Anyone no how to ID relays so I can track wiring back for damage on hot ones?

Finally figured it out,my good lock was not good to start. Lock motors have built in thermistors to protect overheating, when they go out they increase resistance to low/no voltage to motor,so locks just wiggle.
Disassembled, cleaned, greased and then wrapped thermistor(small rectangle) 0ne time with aluminum foil, screwed it back w/#4x1/2 metal screws for .25 and locks work great from switches/remotes. Beats $50 plus a lock.
