Alright, like i said, my passenger door got "tapped" a couple weeks ago, this is what happened:
I was in my friends driveway dropping him off, and as he was opening the door, my other friend pulled into the driveway kinda fast and "tapped" the inside edge of my door with his fender:annoyed: well he pushed the door forward just enough to make it not close without comming into contact with my fender....so theres like a 1/16th of an inch gap were the fender and the door are and sometimes the door likes to chip paint off the fender.

Now ive pulled off the fender to get to the door adjusters to try and pull the door back (the door was pushed about 1/8th inch down too) I pulled the door back and up and tightened the bolts....everything is the same!!! its still forwards and down. Is there anything i can do to get the door back to the factory specs. Did I do everything right??
Im stuck guys, can anyone help me out??

did you use shimms and stuff to hold the door in place when you re-tightened it? Could you see how the hinges actually moved by looking at the paint? The hinges themselves might be bent and that could be where your problem is.
