Ok, so I was replacing the outer wheel bearing and while disasembling the hub, I figured I needed to replace the inner one too. So i drove up to autozone in my dads truck and i know for a fact I left my can of bearing grease on my trucks tailgate, along with brake shoes and a brake cylinder. well i got back maybe 10-15 mins later and POOF! magically my grease is gone and nothing else touched! I checked every inch of my yard, and house, but the grease is nowhere to be found! the worst part is the can wasnt even used. I bought it maybe an hour ago!

well im done venting, haha. just figured i'd let you guys know to watch out for those damn grease nomes!

GREMLINS!!! They existed before the movie was ever made!

They enjoy misplacing your tools while you're under the vehicle....you get from under the truck---look all over for your tool---get back under the truck & there the tool is---next to the tire....aaaarrrrggghhhh :annoyed:

little different situation but we've had a lot of stuff come up gone from out farm.

2 3wheelers, several 3 point farm equipment stuff, a lot of aluminum stuff (ham radio antennas), and a lot of tractor parts..

i wanna go thief hunting! b/c of all this crap-- i can't even keep my own crap on my own property. we moved it all down to my grandma's

but yeah, dang nomes man... they always messing w/ me when i'm working on my b2.

I have a wireless video system installed around the house. Day / night setup. Best way to keep and eye on your property. You can watch your house on the road with a laptop when you are away, or log onto a home PC as well. Best way to catch a pesky gremlin......lol

lmfao, the worst is when your under a veichal supported only by a jack and damn gremlins think its funny to start droppin the veichal. it happened to my friend once, thats why i wse jackstands :D

For things like that, go buy another can. Then you will find it in some weird place that when you find it you will remember putting it there. Works with tools too :icon_thumby:

I went out to adjust the sliding barn door, find the 1/2" wrench I know I need. Get the ladder up there, put my hand out on the rail it slides on for support and there it is. The 1/2" wrench from last year It happens all the time, lose something, buy a replacement and within hours you find the old one.

Dude, I have property in Mississippi and we have phone lines there. You live in a bunker or something? How are you looking at this website??

where do you have land in MS?

i mean, yeah we have phone lines in that area, just we don't have a phone in the house down there. i don't live down there... i live just south of memphis in Walls, MS.

the land is in Pontotoc MS by Ecru and Thaxton. its just a get away place. there's no jobs down there worth having so my parents stayed up here for work. and its where i've went to school and all, so we are just still up here. my parent plan on retiring and moving down there, but... till then-- we are here.

i'm looking at TRS b/c i'm just south of memphis now.

and yeah, we thought about the game cams, would have to be pure IR so they don't flash when taking a pic tho. b/c then they would just shoot them out or steal them to... we just moved everything to my grandma's; at least she is in and out, and home most days and nights...

Just wander around the property every so often carrying a gun. Doesn't have to be loaded, just pick the meanest looking one you have. The pesky thieves will likely start to think twice after they see you packing a few times, lol.

But yea, tool gremlins are pretty much as bad, thus why I've ended up with triplicate of some tools, lol.

We used some trail cams in the woods where kids kept partying. Caught em too.

This makes me so mad. It's even worse when no one else seems to know what happened to it when they are all sitting right there.

We've all been victim of our own stupidity like putting milk in the cabinet and the remote in the freezer. It just happens sometimes.

After cashing paycheck & putting the $$ in wallet, It gets lighter next day. I'm sure you guys know who been raiding it...No gremlins/gnomes-
