Difficult clutch actuaion on long drives.

Hello guys, I won't discount the fact that I may be going crazy. I have had two RBVs with manual transmissions and both seemed to exhibit the same behavior. I suppose I'm asking for affirmation that this is normal or whether its something to try and fix.

When I go on a long highway drive, for example 50+ miles without changing gears, the first couple clutch actuations are very stiff. The clutch feel very quickly returns to normal after, so its very difficult to reliably reproduce. Am I crazy?

I can't see how that's possible on a hydraulic clutch. Sure it's not a numb leg from cruising for that long?

I haven't noticed it on the 2011 nor on the 1998 I have before it.

Yep. I have the same issue.
I have had three clutches, two slave cylinders, and two flywheels, and it still does it after I have been at highway speeds for at least 45 min.
