Difference in red and grey injectors.

Just got my remanufactured injectors in today. They look great. The only difference is these are grey upper body and my originals were red. Does anyone know the difference in their characteristics? Will there be any noticeable change in performance?

I did search this and couldn't find much info on it.

generally the color of the injectors are a quick and easy way to identify the flow rate, example the stock brown tops in my turbo coupe are 36 lbs. some quick research on google says a ford red top is a 30 lb injector and the grey top is a 14 lb injector. with them being reman, it's hard to say if this still holds true though. where did you get them? any info included with them, paperwork or anything?

edit: apparently the ford motorsports red tops are in fact 30lbs/hr, but the factory ranger 4.0 injectors are red as well, rated at 19lbs/hr. i would be suspicious of your grey injectors, wondering if you accidentally got 14 lbs injectors instead of 19 lbs.

The colors as a guide line only work for Ford injectors, don't think there is an industry standard. Several of us use Ford Fuel Injection.com as a great resourse. Found this there.
