I am buying an 89' ranger that has a dream beam lowering kit. I plan on putting it on my 88' ranger. The lowering kits for these two generations have different part #s. The guy at tech support said the ball joints mount in the spindle on one and the beam on the other generation.
Question: Can i just swap out the whole front suspension? Will this work?

Tech guy was right. Just swap the beams, knuckles, and brake components off the parts truck. It's all bolt-on.

Really? Does this difference exist in 4x4s as well? I have an 89 B2 thats getting a 88 front axle stuffed under it, 'cause the 88 axle has 4.10 gears and is in better shape.(yes both are d28s)
