Diesel engine in 2010 Ranger

Has anybody got a thread or what it would take to get a Diesel engine in a 2.3 2010 ranger? While keeping a manual transmission. I'm curious how people do it. It also might be an interesting project to do over the years. I've heard of people putting a cummins in it...? Or a VW diesel.

There will probably be a few wiring differences since yours is a 2010, but the basics will be the same as what he's done in his swap.
