Same here. I called them hoping for a 1/2 priced or whatever ECM for my B2 but no go.My local one seems to be operating normally. I haven't been inside bit there isn't a bunch of sale or liquidation signs. Also, the parking lot still seems to be it's normal amount of busy, depending on the time of day.
Line item 1. Qty=2. NOS 1985 Ford Ranger, 2.9l, v6, 4x4, Ruby Red with Whorehouse red cloth interior. $4,999 ea. Ext. Price - $9,998.00I'd like to see the $10k shopping list...
Lol I'll upload my hauls, unfortunately they didn't have much for my ranger. I mostly got stuff for my car and my parents vehicles.I don't think my advance store even had 10k worth of ranger parts in stock.

That's what I was saying, at first they weren't charging for the core. Some guy came down from Las Vegas and bought out 3 entire stores.Surprises me that advance wouldn't just ship all their leftover crap to stores that they weren't closing.. rather than just fire sale it all. I don't think any of the stores local to me shut..
Relatively sure they ship all their own stuff already so.. I wouldn't imagine it would cost them nearly as much to have their own guys ship stuff between stores as they lost by selling 10k worth of stuff for 50 bucks![]()
I bought a bunch of pigtails for my truck, I told em whatever they have I'll take.I've found that most of the local auto parts stores don't have much in stock for Ranger parts and about half the time it takes them a day or two to get them. I did manage to buy 2 shifter repair kits for less than $2 each, a case of 12 oil filters for $10, a clutch master slave for $11, Sylvania headlight bulbs 2-pk for $20, five cans of brake cleaner for $1 each, and a battery charger for $30 that was originally $70. a few odd tools. I inquired about brake pads, but the only brake pads they had in stock were cheapo organic pads. I bought a set of those in the past during a time when I was broke. All it took to destroy that set of pads was one 3,000 ft descent from Monitor Pass to Hwy 395 on a hot day. Cheapo organic brake pads are not meant for mountain driving. Anyway, the last time I was in Advance Auto they still had plenty of motor oil because it is still more expensive than oil at Walmart.
