I've added an oil pressure gauge to my truck and am trying to find which wire from the dash light dimmer switch to use for the light in my gauge. All the wiring diagrams I can find show a light blue wire with a red stripe, however these must be from early rangers as mine (2011) does not have this wire. Anyone know which wire it is ? Thanx

The backlight bulbs are LEDs in 2011 Ranger so you would need to use an LED in the added gauge

And LED lights are polarized. They usually can be inserted in two ways, but they only work in one of those positions. And and, you may need a dedicated ground wire to ground the gage and/or the illumination or both.
