i know this was setteled a while ago but i need help again. sometimes when i turn on my truck the inside light won't turn off and the dinger keeps dinging 'i replaced the switch on the drivers side door and it worked for a while now it is starting up again is there a timer somewhere and is it mechanical or electronic and where is it located or is it just a bad ground somewhere this is annoying and it is starting to tic my wife off. you know happy wife is a happy life and all that b.s. any hel[p would be nice.

You need to spray some WD40 or similar into the switch every year.

Or you can end it all by pulling the dome light and disconnecting the little speaker for the door chimes...
