dana 35 rebuild.?'s

yeah the factory manual hubs are rare ive NEVER seen a pair at a JY and ive seen a lot of d35's lol...the spindle nut kit is sold seperately from the warn hubs...but you may have bought them both?

Thats because the ones that do show up in the junkyard are usually picked up instantly. All you have to do is look for the Double locknut on the spindle to tell which ones had manual hubs.

got a quote from napa for almost everything, their system is a bit unclear on differentiating between some of the spindle/axle/hub seals so price might be a bit different.
I get everything at wholesale price through my work so im saving quite a bit of money too. Pads rotors calipers bearings and seals all for 301.17.. had some ball joints laying around and bought the u joints awhile back. just gotta order the spindles through the trs store and figure out where i stand on the manual hub conversion parts

lucky sob, you found a d35 with 513s and a locker in a Junkyard? what was up with the rear axle?

You dont need to tack weld the caps of the Ujoints if you go full circle clips. Just do one or the other.

I got the 8.8 w/ mini spool and the d35 pig with the 5.13's and aussie locker from kennyoffroad last summer..just been busy with other projects and school so am just now able to get it all put together.

i pulled my d35 axle off a 94 explorer with abs and it had manual locking hubs. there is absolutely NO difference between the WARN locking hubs and the ford ones. It is cheaper tho to buy a set from warn i think when i was quoted they were like 220 for a pair as ford was 160 a piece. For my abs problem i just cut the wire and pounded out the abs sensor and ive had my truck runnin 31's with the james duff 3inch lift and a 3 inch bl and it works fantastic! i was going about 70 mph the other day and slammed on it and they worked great. i put my axles on a 87 b2
