crankshaft removal and replace?

I have a 1999 ranger 4.0 ohv.we are going to change the crankshaft ..is there anything differant than any other crankshaft removal and replace ..Have never done a v6 before only v8 want to get it right the first time..any help will be appreciated thanks David

They are all about the same.. What happened to the one in there now? I cannot remember swapping a crank that I didn't do some other stuff at the same time..

yeah, Oil pump went out and spun a bearring.. So we rebuilding engine..thanks 4 the info bro!
