If you ever feel like giving one away..........

i would jump on that like white on rice that is a 96 so it has the newer interior and the ob2 system makes engine light codes a cakewalk to repair. and you could probably get 250 back for the canopy alone on the damn thing.

please tell me you didn't pay for that and trust them to deliver it

lol well i did. I went and saw the truck he is delivering it so i dont have to go get a trailer it has one of those interlock devices he has to get removed. not like a money order send money here kinda thing and we ship you the truck and all that bs. no he is dropping it off for me i have a photo copy of his license and i know where he lives and have the title to the ranger vin matching.

I hope the guy is honest, id hate for a fellow rbv lover to get screwed.

all he has right now is a down deposit of 150 dollars haven't given him the full amount yet till the truck is in my hands. so if it was a scam someone would be pretty dumb considering i know where he lives (like 5 miles down the street from me) a full photo copy of his license and written agreement. if it wasn't for the interlock device (for people that have had a dui have to blow into it to get their truck started.) i would already have the truck he is just nice enough to trailer it for me. like i said i went and inspected the whole truck top to bottom and met him in person its all clear i have dealt with shady people before. I appreciate the concern i would be telling other people the same thing if I thought it sounded fishy

If it has one of those "blow to go" devices in it for alco-holics you might want to run a crash history report on it as well.. :icon_rofl:

Sounds like he's going to stick to his word, but some people figure if they don't mention the history people will never find out..

honestly it depends on who i'm selling my truck to. For private party...I say everything. if there's stuff I know is wrong with the truck. I hand whoever's looking at it a list...i sold my last ranger and the guy had to pop start it to take it home. I didn't sugar coat it. Told him its got a new starter and new solenoid. Not sure whats up with it but i've got a new truck and don't wanna fix it. $1000 as is.

If i'm trading into a dealer for a new truck. I don't say shit. Most trade ins just go up for wholesale to the employees then auction (at least where my brother works).

it was in an accident ebcause the damage is still there it just needs a new fender on the pass side. and a corner light. but i told him i had commited to the truck and now would be his time to confess any sins about the truck if he knew anything i didnt care i already wanted the truck but he said the clutch issue and the messed up front fender otherwise im excited about it. i already have my other truck sold for 2500 its an 89 ranger ext cab 2wd with 81k original miles on it.
