I bought a 302 of 99 to 04 vintage and began buying parts from a local guy who did this swap to his ranger - I already bought his flywheel, course spline clutch disc and pressure plate all with less than 400 miles on them - I now went to buy the T5, which I knew would bolt up since it did in his swap, and it turns out that the case is cracked so he junked it - now I come to the issue of choosing another trans on my own and I am not that up on my Fords anymore - I found a T5 locally that sat behind a 4.6 so I know it will handle a stock 302 but will the bell housing bolt up and is the input shaft the correct length - I have attached photos of the clutch disc I already bought (10 spline) , the input shaft on the T5 from the 4.6 (appears to be also 10 spline) and the serial number of the 4.6 T5 for sale - could anyone help with info? Thank you
