Coolest engine swap you've seen

On cool swaps, in a junkyard at one point I saw a '78-79 F150 with a 4 cylinder Detroit in it... looked fairly clean, I was dead broke at the time so trying to buy it was not in the cards...

This guy...
Gwaii was a member on here. Afaik he never finished :(
1970 Triumph GT6 with a Jag v-12

I opened this topic expecting coolest engine swap in a Ranger. As soon as I realized that Walt wasn't talking strictly about Rangers my mind went straight to the GT-12 as well. Wish he'd come back and updates up on progress, or at least tell us that he's still alive and kicking. I've been ready to send out a search party for him and @doorgunner a few times. Didn't have enough info to find Doorgunner, but fortunately he made a reappearance. I know where to start with Gwaii, but hes just too far away.

I have seen two "interesting" swaps.....both were SBC's (V-8's of course) so not an odd engine but the cars they were in was different......a mid to late 60's VW Karman Ghia (engine was in the front), and a mid 60's Bug eyed Sprite. They were both well done swaps. Very neat and professional looking.

When I worked at the brake shop, A guy would come in regularly with his C7 swapped 1500. It was a farm truck converted to a street truck. Corvette Rims, Corvette motor/trans/rear end, Corvette Brakes. The only thing NOT Corvette was the cab, frame, and bed.

Every year at the Northeast Street Rod Nationals in Essex Junction, Vt., there's a late 60's beetle with a front mounted Chevy 427.

I thought of another one. Just down the road from the Sunoco I worked at form 72-75 there was an ESSO(not Exxon yet) run by a guy form Mass named Joe (I can't remember his last name- he looked like one of the Mario Bros). His shop truck was a VW bus with a Toronado transaxle mounted in the rear and the Olds 425 was still bolted to the transaxle. If we were outside when he went by he would usually pull the front wheels off the ground.

I've always like Fairmonts...
